"Where is Rudric?" is a fairly common question in the Lost Ark chat. This is not surprising because Rudric is the first world boss you will meet. Defeating him will tick off your Adventure Book, which is excellent for achievement hunters and anyone who loves Lost Ark rewards.
Here's the challenge: the game does not inform you exactly where to seek out Rodrik. To save you the endless quest, here is the location of the Rudric boss, when it spawns, and how to defeat it. Good luck!
Who is Rudric in Lost Ark?
Since many people ask this question in the in-game chat, let's quickly answer it: Rudric is a globe boss and defeating him ticks off your adventurer's tome. He's among the initially big lousy guys to present up from time to time, prompting other gamers to share his whereabouts through the game.
At least that's the practical answer. In the story of The Lost Ark, Rodrik was once the High Priest of the Holy Sacrian Empire. The empire fell, and so did Rodrik. But not before engaging in forbidden magic and accidentally turning himself into a mindless corpse and soul eater. Since then, Rodrik has taken up residence in the beautiful Graveyard, doomed to fight forever with players from the Lost Ark looking for loot.
Rodrik's location and respawn time in Lost Ark
Rodrik only spawns in the Graveyard, part of the Retramis border map (see picture). It is not tied to one particular place but typically stays within the red circle marked about the right. The Rethramis Border is the fourth area you will encounter after completing the prologue in The Lost Ark, so you should be able to find Rudric quite early.
However, getting to the right place isn't the most challenging part of fighting your first-world boss, The Lost Ark. The real difficulty is finding him while he is alive (or at least roaming). Rodrik's respawn time is 30 minutes, and he usually doesn't live long enough for players to kill him.
If you don't see anything when you arrive at the Graveyard, you can either wait or (and this is better) try switching channels in the upper right corner of the screen. Keep beating until you find one with a fresh Rodrik.

How to beat Rudric in Lost Ark?
While we admire your bravery, it's probably best to stay away from Rudric if you're the only one present. As long as many other players fight next to you, he has no chance. However, you may want to keep the following Rudric's combat tips in mind:
1. Make sure you have plenty of health potions and Phoenix Feathers (instant respawn). Take some bombs if you want to deal with damage without getting too close. Robe of Swiftness (increases movement speed) or Camouflage Robe (provides temporary disguise) are also helpful.
2. When Rudric summons his minions, it's best to stay away from him and eliminate the lesser undead first.
3. Rudric is relatively slow and relies mainly on melee attacks, so you are in luck if your character is often a ranged class. Melee lessons ought to attempt to obtain behind Rudric, land highly effective hits, and after that, dodge.
4. You should pay special attention to one area attack. A double blue circle forms around Rudric, hitting all players inside the circle. You can dodge, but it's better to dodge towards Rudric as he can't beat those close to him. This is a great chance to hit him.
